Butterick’s Practical Typography, by Matthew Butterick. The author is an accomplished type designer, and the book is filled with practical advice. You can click on the hyperlinked topics in the table of contents, or click through page-by-page.
The “Typography in ten minutes” page is truly a bare-bones lesson in typography, while the rest of the book is filled with typographic wisdom.
