Here’s a trick to export style sheets from QuarkXPress for use in Microsoft Word:

• In QuarkXPress, apply your style sheets to some text.
• Select the text or the text box, then choose File> Save Text… and choose either RTF or Microsoft Word as the format.
• In Microsoft Word, open the exported document. The style sheets will be added to Word’s style sheets.
• If you like, you can delete the text and then save the file as a template for your writers.
