Search Using Unicode Values
When working with OpenType, an individual glyph’s Unicode value is displayed in the Glyphs palette in QuarkXPress 7 and above. Just hover over the glyph to see the yellow popup display:
This number is useful when searching for and replacing characters — you can use the Unicode value to find any glyph by simply surrounding it with angle brackets, like so: <00D6>.
