Most Effective Print Ads of 2011

GfK MRI’s Starch Advertising Research has determined what they consider to be the most effective print advertisements of 2011. They looked at over 87,000 single- and double-page ads to see which ones elicited the best recall or response from consumers.

One common element among the winners was a strong tie between the media and the message—they noted that an ad within context (such as one for Halo for XBox in the Official XBox Magazine) tended to do much better.
