The Digital Magazine Awards have named WIRED UK magazine of the year. WIRED editor David Rowan was also named Editor of the Year.

LONDON – December 16, 2011 – Quark and The Digital Magazine Awards 2011 are delighted to announce WIRED UK as Magazine of the Year. WIRED was awarded Magazine of the Year after winning in the Tech and Gadget category and with editor David Rowan winning Editor of the Year 2011.
Digital magazines from 18 countries were named as finalists in 16 categories. Magazines receiving awards included T3, British Vogue, Food Network Magazine, The New Yorker, and Astronaut Magazine.
