HP’s Billion-color 30-inch Display
HP’s ZR30w S-IPS LCD display is a new 30-inch monitor that’s capable of displaying up to a billion colors. In comparison, Apple’s 30-inch Cinema display can reproduce about 16.7 million colors.
The ZR30w offers a 30-bit per pixel color depth capable of showing the full sRGB gamut and 99 percent of Adobe RGB, 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 3000:1 dynamic contrast ration, 16:10 aspect ratio, six-way adjustable stand, and a built-in four-port USB hub.
Like HP’s other professional displays, the ZR30w is a true bargain for print, Web and video designers, at $1,299.
