Command-Grab to Move Items You’re Editing
To move the item you’re currently editing, you don’t have to switch from the Content tool to the Item tool — just hold down the Command key. This temporarily switches from the Content tool to the Item tool so you can drag your item around the page. (Windows: use Ctrl instead.) When you let up on your mouse button, you’ll switch back to the Content tool to continue your editing
Bonus tip: If you’re using your scroll bars at all, stop now! Instead, just hold down the Option key — this lets you grab the entire PAGE and move it around in the document window. (Windows: use Alt instead.)
