Q2ID and ID2Q Conversion Examples
We’ve written several times about Markzware’s converter plug-ins for QuarkXPress and InDesign, ID2Q and Q2ID. If you’ve been wondering how well they convert various kinds of documents, have a look at X-Ray Magazine’s article on the subject here.
It appears that tables don’t fare as well as other design elements, and that box size and location are not the same, even though the page position of what’s inside those boxes are. If you’ve had a different experience, we’d love to hear about it in our comments section below!

I have just purchased the ID2Q v4, and I have to say I am delighted. One or two font issues are easily worked around. A brilliant Xtension, and saves me so much time.
