To merge two or more layers into one, just select them in the Layers palette, then click the Merge Layers button at the top of the palette.
To select multiple layers, hold down the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) while you click on them.
A dialog box will appear that asks you to choose a destination layer for the all the selected layers.
Pick your favorite and click the OK button!
