Keyboard Shortcut: Align to Edge of Page
In QuarkXPress 7 and 8, you can align selected items to a page edge by holding down Shift-Command (Windows: Shift-Ctrl) and pressing the arrow keys.
Give it a quick try.
(Note: if you use this shortcut on an item on the pasteboard, the item will jump to the edge of the pasteboard!)

Just started playing around with Q7 demo, and I’m seriously bummed that they removed the shortcut [Shift Command /]for the strikethru attribute.
Why would they do that? I cannot see who that would help…
dammit.
Hmmm… I don’t use strikethrough, so I don’t know about its keyboard shortcut. But I did just check QuarkXPress 6.5, 7 and 8, and none of them have a keyboard shortcut for the strikethrough attribute.
When I press Shift-Command-/, the search field in the Help menu opens. I’m guessing that’s something that Apple added system-wide in Mac OS X. Are you upgrading from a version earlier than 6?
