QuarkXPress 8 Tip: Big Thumbnails
In QuarkXPress 8 on Mac OS, the pop-up page navigation control at the bottom left of the project window can now display pages as resizeable thumbnails. To see your pages as thumbnails (including master pages), click the up-pointing arrow next to the page number.
This will show you the usual page icon view. Then press the up arrow on your keyboard to display the thumbnails. You can then use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to change the size of the thumbnail preview or to switch back to the icon view.
Thankfully, QuarkXPress remembers your most recent thumbnail setting, so that the next time you click that page navigation arrow, you’ll see pages as thumbnails, in the size you last viewed them.
