In QuarkXPress 6 and above, you can zoom in by pressing Command-+ (Mac) or Control-+ (Windows) and zoom out with Command– (Mac) or Control-+ (Windows) when not in text-editing mode. (The + and – keys are to the right of the 0 key.)
You can define the amount that each click zooms you in and out by changing the Zoom tool preferences. Just double-click the Zoom tool in the Tools palette.
