Meet Me at Macworld Expo

MacworldI’ll be at Macworld Expo in San Francisco the entire week of January 14-18. If you’ll be there, I encourage you to drop in to one of my two Quark-related events. I’ll have some goodies to give away:

QuarkXPress 7 Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) Meeting
Wednesday, January 16
6:00pm – 7:00pm
Moscone West, room W-2002

This gathering is right after the expo floor closes, and is open to all show attendees. So walk on over and join your peers for a relaxed, knowledgeable give-and-take. Representatives from Quark will be on hand to answer your toughest questions and concerns, and I hear that Quark may even provide some snacks. :-)

Users Conference session US935
QuarkXPress 7: Just the New Stuff
Thursday, January 17
11:00am – 12:15pm

The most powerful new tools in QuarkXPress 7 let you collaborate with others in real time, enjoy truly automatic color management, and synchronize content across documents. In this session I’ll show how to define and share Composition Zones, Shared Layouts and Job Jackets, how to preview colors as they will output, and how to save time with Synchronized Items.

And if you’re looking for interesting things to do at the show, be sure to check out the annual Hess Memorial Macworld Events List, maintained by Ilene Hoffman. It lists dozens and dozens of parties, gatherings, book signings, appearances, and other events that are worth attending.
