In the past few years, Quark has made an extra effort to have a presence at trade shows. At next week’s Macworld Expo in San Francisco, they’ll have a booth on the show floor (#702) that will be staffed by product managers and customer support specialists, whose sole purpose is to respond to customer questions and requests.
The booth will also have a theater, where QuarkXPress and Quark Interactive Designer will be demonstrated throughout the day. XTension developers and Quark partners will be demonstrating their products and answering questions at separate stations.
Another opportunity to get some face time with the Quark tech and product experts is to attend Macworld’s QuarkXPress Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) meeting, which takes place on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm in room W-2002. I’ll be leading this informal meeting, so be sure to say hello!
