Gluon’s ColorBreaker ($199) is an XTension for QuarkXPress 6 or 7 that really helps when your document is at the printer. ColorBreaker marks every item in your document with a box that indicates colors used (process or spot) and CMYK equivalents. For pictures, it shows the file name, location, color info and *fonts used*.
It also indicates knockout items and shades. Print this version out and send it along with your job to be named “customer of the year” by your printing vendor or proofreader.
