Vision’s Edge’s PageBorder XT is a free XTension for QuarkXPress 4, 5, 6 or 7 that prints a border around the edge of a page or spread.
It’s handy when you want to temporarily print a frame around the edge of a business card or other small piece, without having to create an empty box and then remember to delete or suppress it.
You can control the border’s color, shade, line style and thickness. We’ve used it for many years. (For QuarkXPress 6 use PageBorder XT 6; for QuarkXPress 4 and 5 use PageBorder XT 4.0.)
Jay Nelson is the editorial director of PlanetQuark.com, and the editor and publisher of Design Tools Monthly. He’s also the author of the QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress 7 training titles at Lynda.com, as well as the training videos Quark includes in the box with QuarkXPress 7 . In addition, Jay writes regularly for Macworld and Photoshop User magazines and speaks at industry events.
