Create a Round/Square Box Screencast
QuarkXPress lets you create boxes with either rounded corners or square corners, but not both. But sometimes you want rounded corners at the top and square at the bottom…
Here are two ways to create a box with round and square corners in QuarkXPress. The first way involves moving anchor points, while the second way is much simpler and involves merging two boxes.
Jay Nelson is the editorial director of PlanetQuark.com, and the editor and publisher of Design Tools Monthly. He’s also the author of the QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress 7 training titles at Lynda.com, as well as the training videos Quark includes in the box with QuarkXPress 7 . In addition, Jay writes regularly for Macworld and Photoshop User magazines and speaks at industry events.
Thanks for the tip on the round and square corners.
