Voices That Matter Web Design Conference
For many years, New Riders has been publishing outstanding books on Web design by the greatest leaders in the field. Now they’ve gathered 23 of these expert thinkers for a conference.
It’s called the Voices That Matter Web Design Conference, and is taking place October 22nd through 25th in San Francisco.
If your work involves strategizing for websites, or making use of advanced Web technologies, you’ll want to look into this event.
Jay Nelson is the editorial director of PlanetQuark.com, and the editor and publisher of Design Tools Monthly. He’s also the author of the QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress 7 training titles at Lynda.com, as well as the training videos Quark includes in the box with QuarkXPress 7 . In addition, Jay writes regularly for Macworld and Photoshop User magazines and speaks at industry events.
Thanks for reminding forks of the conference. All of us at New Riders are excited about the way the conference has come together.
One of the things we are doing is skipping the usual “keynote” presentation in favor of informal “conversations” to start each morning. Our publisher, Nancy Ruenzel, will be speaking with Steve Krug, Jakob Nielsen and June Cohen. One each morning.
How appropriate: a new “keynote” approach for an entirely new kind of conference. Bravo!
