Quark offers a free QuickLook plug-in for MacOS / OS X that allows you to see previews and thumbnails of QuarkXPress documents (*.qxp files). You can even use this on Macs where QuarkXPress is not installed.

Help to build the QuarkXPress wishlist!

In 2014 Quark asked all users of QuarkXPress to rank the wishlist. The result of the ranking drove the development of QuarkXPress 2015 and 2016. For example, PDF/X-4, larger page size, footnotes/endnotes, multi-color gradients and color picker (eyedropper tool) had been ranked in the TOP 20 and therefore were built into the last two versions.

Quark will conduct a new ranking survey soon, so please help build the wishlist today.

New QuarkXPress Document Converter removes Pasteboard XT and Web layouts

To open documents created in QuarkXPress 3, 4, 5 or 6 in newer versions of QuarkXPress you need QuarkXPress Document Converter. Now there’s another reason why QuarkXPress Document Converter comes in handy: It can remove references to Pasteboard XT and delete Web layouts and Interactive layouts in documents created in QuarkXPress 7, 8 and 9.
