Convert Adobe InDesign to QuarkXPress — a Demonstration

I ran across a three-and-a-half minute video that demonstrates how to convert an InDesign document to QuarkXPress, using Markzware’s ID2Q. When you’re handed an InDesign document that really should have been built in QuarkXPress, this $199 XTension can save you tons of time and frustration.

Tip: click on the resolution button in the lower right corner of the video (it normally says 320p) and change it to 720p. Then click the four-arrow icon to its right to see everything in much greater detail.

YouTube.com has a wealth of videos that show off individual features in programs such as QuarkXPress and Adobe’s Creative Suite.

Just visit YouTube.com and search for your favorite application. A lengthy list of videos appears, and when you choose to play one, YouTube updates the list with videos that may be even more relevant to your search.

QuarkXPress could always save documents down one version: 7 to 6, for example. In this very brief video, I show where to go to export your document for earlier versions of QuarkXPress. I also mention a secondary use for this export function: breaking Layouts away from a Project.
