Combining Quark & InDesign Pages?

Digital Publishing, Tip

I saw this interaction on Quark’s online forum, and thought it would be useful for people wanting to use App Studio to create publications using content from both InDesign and QuarkXPress…

Q: Can an issue built in the new version of App Studio include interactive pages built in InDesign? The publication in question will be built in QXPv9.3. Some advertisers would like to provide interactive ad pages built in InDesign. Can these be uploaded as-is to the publishing portal and added to an issue, or will they need to be rebuilt in QXP?

A: Yes, you can combine all input methods, so combine QuarkXPress projects, InDesign files, HTML5 and XML in App Studio and assemble them in an online page plan and rearrange as you like. And then export them as one issue.
