Suitcase Fusion 4 & QuarkXPress

Bug, Font, Software (other)

Extensis Suitcase Fusion 4 has an issue with QuarkXPress 7, 8 and 9 that causes QuarkXPress to always ask you to save files when the auto-activation XTension is enabled, even if the document has not been changed.

In other words, if you have the Suitcase Fusion XTension enabled, every time you open a QuarkXPress document, you’ll be prompted to save the file when you close it.

For updated information on this and other issues in Suitcase Fusion 4, see http://www.extensis.com/downloads/release-notes/suitcase-fusion-4-mac/.

Finally they acknowledged it. I’ve email them before. It’s not just 10.7 or Suitcase 4

Fusion 3, quark 8 on 10.6 and 10.7 acts the same on everyone of our installs. Annoying for soo long. Hopefully now that its on their ‘known’ list, it gets fixed.
