As you probably know, any ruler guides you add to a QuarkXPress Master Page appear on all the Layout (document) pages based on that Master Page.

What you may not know is that this also works with ruler guides dragged onto the pasteboard area around a Master Page — which can be useful for setting up a visual bleed area, for example.

Amazingly simple tip but probably why I wouldn’t have thought of it.
Accurate bleed lines that aren’t dictated by a static MP picture/text box; that certainly frees things up.
