Place Objects on a Text Leading Grid

Learn, Tip

If you’ve used a leading grid to build your page, you may want to position objects on the page based on the number of lines down on the page.

If you want an object to begin 11 lines down, and your text leading is 14 points, go to the Y-origin field in the Measurements palette and type “14pt*11″. The program will do the math for you, multiplying 14 pts by 11.
