New Pricing for FontExplorer X Server

Font, Software (other)

Back in May, I wrote glowingly about Linotype’s font manager FontExplorer X Pro 2.0 ($79). (www.fontexplorerx.com) The pricing of their server version, however, was confusing and seemed to be prohibitively expensive.

Now, FontExplorer X Server can be purchased online for 10, 15, 20 or 25 users, beginning at $999 for the 10 user license. It runs on both Mac OS X and Windows, and lets an administrator control nearly every aspect of how fonts are used in a workgroup.

The $999 price will be available through at least December 31, 2009.
