Copy and Paste Pictures Between Boxes

Mon, Jun 16, 2008

Tip

I admit that this one seems obvious, but to some it’s not: QuarkXPress lets you copy and paste the content of a picture box into another box AND maintain its formatting.

Just click on the box with the content tool, Copy it (Command/Ctrl-C), click on the other box and paste it (Command/Ctrl-V).

All the changes you made to the original will be applied to the copy, such as scaling, rotation, Picture Effects, positioning, etc.
