Set Up a Grid of Guides

Fri, Apr 11, 2008

Tip

QuarkXPress 6 and 7 (and 4 & 5 with Quark’s free Guide Manager XTension) include a Guide Manager in the Utilities menu. There, you can create a grid of horizontal and/or vertical guides, with control over their number and spacing. Their positions can be based on the page edge, margins, or any other location, and they can be added to the current page or spread, or all pages or spreads. They can also be locked as they’re created.

The Guide Manager also lets you lock, unlock, or remove all the guides on one or all pages — either horizontally, vertically or both!
